Madison Beer gave fans a really clear look at her reported $1 million engagement ring this week.

The singer hit the red carpet at Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood event at The Four Seasons in LA on Wednesday. Photographers snapped awesome close-ups of the massive diamond ring that Justin Herbert gave her after his proposal.

Beer and Herbert went public with their engagement on social media right before NFL training camp started, after dating for about a year. Their news came right after another NFL love story got a sweet beginning, with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift tying the knot earlier this summer.

Madison Beer’s Ring Draws Attention

According to Page Six, Beer’s engagement ring features an elongated cushion-cut diamond that weighs between 10 and 15 carats. Experts estimate the ring’s value between $700,000 and $1.2 million.

Jewelry designer Logan Hollowell explained why the diamond is different. “Much rarer than a traditional cushion and creates a graceful, finger-lengthening effect,” Hollowell told Page Six Style.

Everyone focused on the diamond’s size and unique cut. The ring became one of the most talked-about celebrity engagement pieces of the summer.

While Beer celebrated her engagement, Herbert also got some unwanted attention.

The couple recently shared a lovely scene on the field after Chargers practice. Fox Sports 1 personality Chris Broussard criticized the PDA during a discussion.

“This could have led the show,” Broussard said. “This has to be a joke. Like, I mean, were they just doing that? Like, having fun? You can’t let that happen. I’m sorry. I get it. You’re in love and all that, but come on!”

He continued with more criticism of the scene.

“That’s kissy-poo! That is not ‘you got something in your hair’ because it looks like he’s rubbing her hair, too, or something. I mean, that is footsy. […] Where’s Harbaugh? Where is he at? Mike McDaniel, I’ve been singing your praises all offseason! This is what you let happen? Come on. I’m serious. I’m not even trying to be funny.”

Despite the outside reactions, Beer and Herbert appear focused on enjoying their engagement.
