Daejon Labrayae Love is in some huge trouble after what he did to several women.

When it comes to sports, everyone knows that men dominate when it comes to knowing about athletes. There are thousands of women who love sports, but even more who couldn’t care less about sports. However, they are aware that athletes make a lot of money.

Love orchestrated a romance-and-investment scam that screwed a bunch of women out of a lot of money.

How Daejon Labrayae Love Pulled Off The Scam

First, Daejon Labrayae Love met women on dating apps like Tinder, Hinge, and Facebook Dating. This happened between February 2022 and March 2025. Initially, he built romantic relationships and told his victims he wanted to settle down and build wealth together.

Next, he used fake social media profiles and manipulated photos wearing 49ers gear or driving luxury cars. That was done to build a false sense of wealth and credibility.

Afterward, he introduced an accomplice as a financial advisor and held fake three-way FaceTime calls. Finally, Daejon Labrayae Love tricked the women into investing large sums of money into fake schemes, stealing thousands of dollars.

Daejon Labrayae Love was arrested on August 24, 2026. He was booked on federal wire fraud charges after running an elaborate romance-and-investment scam. He pretended to be a San Francisco 49ers wide receiver or a wealthy real estate investor.

In addition, an 18-year-old accomplice, Taylor Jamie Chan, helped him by posing as his financial adviser during calls. Consequently, the pair tricked at least 26 women out of more than $1.3 million through fake investment promises.

It took some time, but federal authorities uncovered the multi-state scheme. Finally, law enforcement arrested Love and his accomplice on August 24, 2026, at the Boise Airport.

Authorities think Daejon Labrayae Love has more victims and are encouraging any of them to reach out.
