49ers Might Get Their Hands On A Le’Veon Bell-Type Player In 2027

The 49ers have a very good running back on their team. But if given a chance to select a Le’Veon Bell-type player, the franchise would do it in a heartbeat.
The former Pittsburgh Steelers star was a three-time Pro Bowl running back and four-time All-Pro selection. He was arguably one of the best running backs in the NFL during his heyday.
Well, maybe not the trouble that Bell has been in lately, but the Niners could certainly use a young player who has a similar skill set.
49ers Predicted To Select Jadan Baugh In 2027

NFL Analyst Ryan Wilson has released his latest 2027 NFL Mock Draft, and he had the 49ers selecting Florida’s Jadan Baugh at 16. He wrote a lengthy piece on why he thinks the team would go this route.
“The 49ers zig when others expect them to zag when it comes to the draft. They could plan for life for Trent Williams here, or maybe add another receiver. Instead, they get the best back of the class in Jadan Baugh, who reminds me of in-hi-prime Le’Veon Bell. That type of player in a Shahanan offense feels like a no-brainer.”
Baugh is a 6-foot-1, 225-pound running back. Many pundits have argued that he’s the best back of his class, not just Wilson.
Baugh Projected To Replace Christian McCaffrey

The San Francisco 49ers still have Christian McCaffrey, one of the best running backs in football. However, at 30 years old, questions about his future have started to surface.
Even though he played superbly last season, his longevity at the position is often questioned. He’s dealt with injuries before. Moreover, his availability in Week 1 is in serious doubt, too.
That’s why it’s important for the 49ers to find a replacement. Maybe not to replace McCaffrey immediately, but someone who could become a star down the road.
