Odell Beckham Jr. found a way to steal the show before even catching a pass.

The New York Giants receiver showed up for Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams wearing a flashy, crystal glove inspired by Michael Jackson. It was just another classic, bold look that added to his list of crazy fashion choices, and people couldn’t stop talking about it, even though the Giants ended up losing 28-6 at SoFi Stadium.

The night had some real history to it, too. Beckham played for the Rams back in 2021 and helped them win Super Bowl LVI before suffering a knee injury during the championship game.

Beckham has shown his love for Michael Jackson several times during his career. He has used Jackson-inspired dance moves during celebrations and has also paid tribute to the pop star away from the field.

During the Giants’ preseason finale in August, Beckham broke into Michael Jackson-style dance moves after picking up a first down against the New York Jets. He had also recently received ruby-red cleats with a Wizard of Oz-inspired design.

Beckham even has a detailed portrait of Michael Jackson tattooed on his lower right leg.

Still, how little he actually played turned out to be a much bigger story than what he wore. Beckham was on the field for just three offensive snaps out of 58. Meanwhile, Malachi Fields got 47 snaps, Malik Nabers got 43, and Darnell Mooney got 42.

Even Braxton Berrios, who usually just plays special teams, got more action with five snaps.

His lack of playing time was especially surprising after starting quarterback Jaxson Dart injured his knee and had to leave the game. Jameis Winston came in to take over and went 11-for-27 passing. Beckham and Winston have great chemistry together, but the Giants barely put them on the field at the same time.

Beckham only played 11 snaps in Week 1, and through two games, he hasn’t even been thrown a single pass. Giants fans were thrilled to see him come back, but so far, the team has hardly used him.
