Her message hyped the traveling Chiefs Kingdom rather than addressing the penalties directly. Her caption read, “Man do I love seeing #ChiefsKingdom show up always!”
She kept celebrating on her main Instagram feed, too.
She posted a field-side photo with Patrick and their kids, captioned simply, “Three and zeroooooo 🙌🏼 ❤️.” Patrick replied with hearts, and Fox NFL host Charissa Thompson joined in with compliments for the family.
She Has A History Of Firing Back At Doubters
This wasn’t the first time Brittany Mahomes used social media to needle people who counted the Chiefs out.
She mocked an ESPN panel earlier this month for picking Denver over Kansas City. She shared a screenshot of the wrong picks with a one-word caption. That win came in Patrick Mahomes’ first game back from his ACL injury.
Sunday’s message fell right in line.
Brittany skipped the officiating debate and instead celebrated the fans who traveled to Miami. It’s become something of a routine for her lately. She answers noise with a jab of her own rather than a lengthy defense.
A Different Kind Of Post Came Just Days Earlier
The timing adds an interesting wrinkle here. Brittany Mahomes had apologized for her own sideline reaction only two days before this latest post. That came after the Chiefs needed overtime to beat the Colts. She admitted to screaming and cursing through the entire finish.
Sunday’s win didn’t require nearly as much drama on the field. Mahomes completed 20 of 24 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns, including an 11-yard strike to Travis Kelce that put the game away. Kansas City’s defense forced two turnovers of its own.
