1 Bold Prediction for Every Game in NFL Week 7
This article was originally published on Sportsnaut.

The 2025 NFL schedule is in full swing. With the NFL Week 7 schedule kicking off Thursday and continuing with more football games on Sunday and Monday, we have a lot to look forward to. This week, there are 15 NFL matchups to preview, featuring 30 teams in action.
Below, we dive into one bold prediction for each game on the Week 7 NFL schedule.
Joe Flacco’s 330 Yards Help Bengals Beat Steelers

Even though he’s still learning the offense and building better chemistry with his receivers, Joe Flacco showed he can help this team move the chain. Last week was a step in the right direction, but we expect the former Super Bowl winner to be much more polished now that he’s had more time on task. The Steelers already know what to expect from Flacco, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be able to stop weaponized versions of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins too.
Jaguars Beat Rams, Score 35+ Points

The Rams have a top-five defense, but the Jaguars look like a completely different team under first-year head coach Liam Coen. Trevor Lawrence is playing with confidence and Travis Etienne has been hard to slow down. Only one team is forcing more turnovers than Jacksonville this year, and if they can repeat that success against LA, things could get surprisingly ugly.
Carson Wentz Outgains + Outscores Jalen Hurts in Vikings Win

How ironic would this be? Jalen Hurts was drafted in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and eventually replaced former No. 2 overall pick Carson Wentz as the Eagles’ starting quarterback. Now, the two square off again, and Hurts isn’t exactly playing his best. How comical would it be to see the man Hurts replaced get his revenge?
Saints Score 30+, Beat Bears by Double Digits

The Bears have won three games in a row, but the last two have been by just one point. Meanwhile, the Saints have played much better over the past three weeks, giving the Bills fits, beating the Giants, and losing to a much-improved Patriots team by just six points. However, New Orleans could make a huge statement with a big win over a hot Chicago team.
Shedeur Sanders Leads Browns to Win Over Dolphins

No, Shedeur Sanders is not the Browns’ starting quarterback, but after Dillon Gabriel’s ugly start last week, it may not be long before he gets to make his NFL debut. We’ll even predict it happens this week, when Gabriel starts to struggle again. If Sanders can lead the Browns to victory over the Dolphins, he might just be able to run away with the starting job.
Cam Ward’s 300-Yard Day Lifts Titans Past Patriots

The Titans felt they had to make a change after Brian Callahan led them to just a 4-19 record over the past two seasons. Now Cam Ward feels he’ll be able to cut it loose. If so, we should see a different version of the No. 1 overall pick against the Patriots on Sunday.
Maxx Crosby Sacks Mahomes 3 Times in Raiders Win

Mad Maxx Crosby is no stranger to playing the Chiefs. Yet, of his three AFC West divisional opponents, he’s recorded the fewest sacks against Kansas City. That could change this week now that Patrick Mahomes has Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy back in the lineup, which may call for longer shots downfield. If so, that will buy Crosby just enough time to wrangle Mahomes in three times on the way to a Raiders win.
Justin Fields Runs for 100, Passes for 250 in Jets Win Over Panthers

Justin Fields played so poorly last week that coach Aaron Glenn faced questions about whether he’d bench his starting QB. Fields certainly will have a shorter leash going forward, but he’ll have a get-right game against a Panthers defense that is still finding their way. If Fields can make a few splash plays with his legs, it could help set up an even bigger day through the air, but he’ll have to be accurate with his throws.
Dexter Lawrence’s 2.5 Sacks Help Giants Crush Broncos

The Giants are playing better as of late, and much of it is thanks to rookies Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo. Yet, this team still has one of the most feared defensive lines in football, and it all starts up front with Dexter Lawrence. The Broncos will dial up a lot of short passes and screens, but since Lawrence has a straight shot to the QB, their quick passing attack may not matter.
Chargers Beat Colts with 200+ Rushing Yards

Both of the Chargers’ top two running backs are hurt, so it’s the next man up in LA. However, Kimani Vidal has done well in limited action, averaging a robust 6.5 yards per carry. If the Chargers can set the tone early, it just might catch a red-hot Colts team off-guard.
Cowboys Win, Hold Commanders Under 15 Points

Defense, defense, defense. The Cowboys haven’t been stopping opponents this season. They’ve allowed the NFL’s second-most points thus far. Yet, DaRon Bland and Trevon Diggs should be healthier after being limited in practice last week, and the Commanders have been bitten by the injury bug too. Playing in front of their home crowd, Dallas will have to be at their best, but if they can feed off the energy, they just might be able to make the kind of statement that can set up the rest of their season.
Kyler Murray’s 75 Rush Yards, 3 TD Lift Cardinals Past Packers

The Cardinals started hot by winning their first two games, but now they’re losers of four in a row. Whereas the Packers have looked very beatable in the past three weeks, lsing to the Browns, tying with the Cowboys in OT, and barely scraping by a Bengals team that just traded for a new QB. Arizona’s entering this one with a huge chip on their shoulders and Kyler Murray knows he needs to be at his best, so we expect a memorable performance.
Falcons Hold 49ers Under 400 Yards in Big Win

Once again, Mac Jones threw for over 300 yards last week, but this time, it came with two interceptions. Surely the Falcons will study last week’s tape closely, hoping to carve out another win over a possible playoff contender. Yet, we’ve seen this young defense make huge strides this season, so another step in the right direction can’t be ruled out.
Lions Score 50 in OT Win Over Buccaneers

Expect offensive fireworks here as two top-six offenses square off. Being that it’s on Sunday Night Football, the Lions and Buccaneers could both have some extra tricks up their sleeves. Jared Goff and Baker Mayfield are playing lights out, and neither of these defenses may be able to slow them down. The only hope is for each one to keep up with the other in what could be the highest-scoring game of the season.
Texans Win, Intercept Sam Darnold 3 Times

Can anyone stop or slow down Sam Darnold? If anyone can, it’s the Houston Texans, who boast the NFL’s best defense through six weeks. Opponents are scoring just 12.2 points per game against Houston, and they’ve allowed the fewest passing touchdowns too. Darnold won’t find any easy paths to big gains in this one, and Houston might even fluster him enough to record three interceptions as he keeps trying anyway.
