A former NFL announcer has shared his thoughts on Donald Trump’s decision to facilitate an airstrike on Iran.

The U.S. and Israel bombed the Middle Eastern state on February 28, killing its Supreme Leader.

Trump later revealed having tried to reach a deal with Iran after bombing three of the country’s nuclear sites last year. However, according to him, they “rejected every opportunity to renounce their nuclear ambitions, and we can’t take it anymore.”

“Instead, they attempted to rebuild their nuclear program and to continue developing long range missiles that can now threaten our very good friends and allies in Europe, our troops stationed overseas and could soon reach the American homeland,” he added, per CNN.

Trump has carried out several attacks since returning to office, including two in Iran. He also orchestrated the capture of former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and is reported to have had involvement in the killing of Mexican drug lord Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes last month.

While the POTUS has faced staunch criticism, he’s also received much praise.

Former NFL kicker and announcer Jay Feely is among those who side with Trump on the latest attack.

A vocal Trump supporter, Feely is running for U.S. Congress in Arizona.

He took to social media to share his take on the recent bombing.

“This is what freedom looks like,” he wrote, resharing a video of Iranian women dancing in the streets.

“War is ugly & should be avoided at all costs. But inaction doesn’t mean lives are spared it often means many more innocent lives are sacrificed.”

Meanwhile, it’s rumored that Iran’s leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, may still be alive

Unverified reports claim the 86-year-old was spotted in the Sahara Desert after the bombing on his compound in Tehran on Saturday.
