3 Favorites Emerge To Headline Super Bowl 61 Halftime Show Following Bad Bunny’s Performance

Three top artists have emerged as favorites to headline the Super Bowl 61 Halftime Show in 2027. 

Another NFL season has come and gone, with the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots closing out 2025 with a defensive display. 

The Seahawks are your new Super Bowl champions following a 29-13 win on Sunday. 

Bad Bunny performed at halftime, bringing several other celebrities out. He also brought out a couple and had them tie the knot during his performance. 

The 31-year-old’s selection was one of the most controversial in Super Bowl history, but he’s gotten many positive reviews. Of course, there were complaints over the lack of English, but Bunny mostly kept things clean and PG.

With the season and the highly anticipated show now in the rearview mirror, odds have been released on who will feature as the main performer at the SoFi Stadium next February.

Of course, we won’t know for several months. The NFL and Apple Music unveiled Bad Bunny as their choice last September. So we will likely know who it will be before October 2026 arrives. 

For now, Miley Cyrus, Cardi B and Taylor Swift are the betting favorites. 

Taylor Swift Would Be The NFL’s Top Choice

Swift, who should be Mrs. Travis Kelce by then, would probably be the one the NFL would most want. But she has already said she wouldn’t do it if Kelce is playing. 

Of course, there’d be no way of knowing that in September, unless the NFL is indeed scripted. So a Swift performance is likely contingent on Travis retiring. 

The Kansas City Chiefs star hasn’t revealed whether he plans to return next season. 

Meanwhile, Cardi B is in the news after making a cameo appearance during Bad Bunny’s performance on Sunday.

She’s also rumored to have broken up with Stefon Diggs on the same night. Rumors emerged after they unfollowed each other on Instagram.

They are yet to confirm.
