Seattle Seahawks star Kenneth Walker III will be one of the most popular players in the upcoming 2026 NFL free agency. Following a memorable 2025 season with Seattle, which he capped off with a Super Bowl MVP-worthy performance.

The Seahawks opted against tagging Walker and let him test free agency, where multiple teams will try to lure him. After the New York Jets tagged Breece Hall, plenty of teams turned their attention to Walker, including the Kansas City Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes and Co. are expected to heavily pursue Walker in free agency, but the race for the 25-year-old running back won’t be easy. Some anticipate the 25-year-old to draw a strong market once the free agency opens.

On Sunday, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that Kenneth Walker has kept his options open. Fowler named three teams that he has an interest in joining, which include potential contenders and rebuilding teams.

“Kenneth Walker seems to be the market-setter as it stands, but Travis Etienne Jr. will be right there in the mix,” Fowler wrote. “Some teams I’ve talked to are setting the market’s ceiling at around $12 million. That could go up if enough teams get involved.

“I’m hearing Walker will consider the Giants and Commanders among his options, with the Titans as a possibility, too.”

After recording the best season of his NFL career, Walker won’t miss suitors. The Seahawks could still break everybody’s hearts and re-sign him, but that might not be the strongest option as things stand.
