49ers Acquired Keion White In a Mid-Season Trade

Before the trade deadline, the 49ers acquired White in a trade with the New England Patriots. San Francisco desperately needed help in the front seven with Nick Bosa, Fred Warner and rookie Mykel Williams all suffering season-ending injuries.
White had 1.5 sacks, a pass breakup and two tackles for a loss in nine game appearances. In two playoff games, White logged a sack as well. The 49ers’ season ended with a blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional Round.
He had the best season of his young career in 2024, recording five sacks and as many pass breakups on the rebuilding Patriots. With an expanded role in 2026, White could have his best season yet as a 49er.
