5 Interesting NFL Teams Emerge As Top Contenders To Land Blockbuster Trade For Maxx Crosby

Las Vegas Raiders superstar defensive end Maxx Crosby has quickly emerged as one of the top names to monitor in the 2026 offseason trade rumor mill.
On Wednesday, it was reported that Maxx Crosby and the Raiders are expected to split in the offseason. The Raiders are coming off a fourth straight losing and non-playoff season, despite Crosby’s elite production.
The relationship has seemingly grown sour over the last couple of months. Crosby walked out of the Raiders’ facility ahead of their Week 17 contest against the New York Giants after being told they were shutting him down for the final two games of the season.
Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton listed the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens and Washington Commanders as possible landing spots for Crosby. Moton proposed possible trade ideas for all five teams, each including multiple first-round draft selections.
It’s worth noting that Crosby’s contract doesn’t have a no-trade clause. So, the Raiders aren’t obligated to trade him to a specific team that he may request. For the front office, it should come down to whichever club submits the best offer.
Raiders’ Best Bet Is To Trade Maxx Crosby

The Raiders have only made the postseason once in Maxx Crosby’s first seven seasons. That was back in 2021, and Las Vegas hasn’t come close to returning to the postseason ever since.
Crosby will be 29 before the start of next season. His trade value is at its peak right now, so the Raiders are better off trading the five-time Pro Bowler now. They’re nowhere close to returning to the postseason, so there’s no point in keeping him on the roster.
There would be plenty of interest in Crosby, who’s arguably a top-five pass rusher in the game. Seeing what the Dallas Cowboys got for Micah Parsons (two firsts and star defensive tackle Kenny Clark), there’s no question the Raiders would get a significant return that could accelerate the rebuild in Sin City.
