Eight early front-runners are emerging to win the Maxx Crosby trade sweepstakes.
During Super Bowl 60 week, it was reported that the Las Vegas Raiders were likely to trade Maxx Crosby in the offseason. Speculation of a potential move ramped up in December, when Crosby left the Raiders’ facility after being told they were shutting him down for the final two games of the season.
Crosby hasn’t formally requested a trade from the Raiders. Per ESPN’s Ryan McFadden, Raiders GM John Spyek said last week that he expects Crosby to stay with the Silver and Black in 2026.
It’s easy for Spytek to say that before the new league year begins. If the Raiders get an astronomical offer for Maxx Crosby? Without question, their best bet is to trade the soon-to-be 29-year-old.
Last season, Crosby tallied 10 sacks and two forced fumbles in 15 games. He has 69.5 sacks over his first seven NFL seasons.
The Early Favorites To Land Maxx Crosby

Per Kyle Odegard, BetOnline lists the Washington Commanders as the early betting favorites to land Crosby at +300. The Tennessee Titans are second at +400, followed by the AFC champion New England Patriots (+500) and San Francisco 49ers (+600).
Behind those four are the Dallas Cowboys (+700), Los Angeles Rams (+800), Philadelphia Eagles (+900) and Arizona Cardinals (+1000).

The Cowboys-Green Bay Packers trade for Micah Parsons serves as a potential template for a Crosby trade. The Pack had to give up two first-round picks and star defensive tackle Kenny Clark for Parsons.
However, Parsons is two years younger than Crosby and is undoubtedly the better player. The Raiders would get at least one first-round pick, and probably at least one quality roster player if they asked for it.
