Aaron Rodgers recently spoke openly about his past relationships, without holding back.
The veteran quarterback, who now plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, talked about his dating history during a public appearance on Wednesday. Rodgers said some of his former partners looked for attention and brought unwanted media coverage into his life.
Rodgers said his life is very different now. He explained that he prefers to stay out of all attention. He also shared that his wife feels the same way and values privacy.
The four-time MVP said he no longer wants the kind of public lifestyle he had before. Instead, he feels happier living a quieter life and avoiding the drama that once surrounded him.
Rodgers Criticizes Publicity From Past Relationships

Rodgers described his earlier dating life as chaotic. He said several former partners pushed him toward a lifestyle he never wanted.
“I got myself into crazy town,” Rodgers said. “And I was with individuals who called the paparazzi, who leaked or talked about where I was living, who coerced me to make the proverbial Instagram, social media posts.”
Rodgers said he never wanted to live such a public life. He added that constant attention created stress and frustration.
“I never really wanted to live a public life,” Rodgers said.
The Super Bowl champion also referenced past public drama involving his family. He said outside voices often shaped the narrative while he stayed silent.
Aaron Rodgers says on @PatMcAfeeShow it’s “f***ing bizarre” how everyone wants to know who his wife is.
He’s known her since 2017, but then they separated, she went back across the pond, and now years later they are happily married.

“If you look at the saga with my family, for years it was one-sided,” Rodgers said. “They were making shots in the media saying (expletive). I never said anything until it got to the point that, all right, enough is enough.”
Rodgers did not name any former partners during the discussion. However, fans know several of his high-profile relationships over the years. Rodgers previously dated Danica Patrick, actress Shailene Woodley, and actress Olivia Munn.
Rodgers also rejected the celebrity “WAG” culture that surrounds many pro athletes. He said he lived that lifestyle before and never enjoyed it.
“I lived that life, I didn’t like it, I dealt with it, I didn’t like it,” Rodgers said. “Now I’m out of it and I don’t want to be back in it.”
Rodgers added that he understands public attention will always follow an NFL quarterback. Still, he plans to keep his personal life private.
“I’m fully content on living a private life,” Rodgers said.
Rodgers has not yet confirmed whether he will play in the 2026 NFL season. Fans continue to watch closely as the veteran quarterback weighs his next move.
