Aaron Rodgers made a public appearance on Wednesday, as he continues to ponder his NFL future. The 42-year-old quarterback spent one season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, helping them win the AFC North title.

His future is uncertain after the 2025 season, which ended with Mike Tomlin stepping down as head coach. With Mike McCarthy taking over, Rodgers could return to the Steelers for 2026, but that answer won’t come this week.

During a recent appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday, Rodgers made it clear he wouldn’t announce his decision yet.

“Well, I want to say that anybody on here who’s expecting me to make some big decision, just shut up. Just just turn it off now. Just Just leave,” he said.

More than that, Rodgers touched on other topics, including FBI Director Kash Patel celebrating with the Team USA men’s hockey team after they won the gold medal in the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics. Patel celebrated with the players in the locker room and even called President Donald Trump, although he didn’t look completely sober.

“Can we get that one guy out of the locker room though and get him working on something else?” Rodgers said. “That’s a bad look. Come on, have some awareness.”

Patel defended himself against criticism, saying he was happy for his country and wanted to celebrate with the boys. Still, many didn’t appreciate his actions in Italy. Rodgers, meanwhile, continues to ponder his options for next season.

He had a solid 2025 campaign, going 327 of 498 for 3,322 yards and 24 touchdowns with seven interceptions.
