Aaron Rodgers usually leaves everyone guessing when it comes to his future, and this year is no different.

Rodgers spent last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he reclaimed some of what was lost during his time in New York.

The veteran quarterback was not happy to learn that Mike Tomlin would be leaving. Reports claimed he kept a long face over the surprise resignation.

But Mike McCarthy has since stepped in as a replacement, which could tempt him to re-sign for at least another season.

Furthermore, McCarthy has made it clear that he would like Rodgers to be his QB in his first season with the team.

ESPN’s Brooke Pryor recently reported that Rodgers would lean heavily toward returning. However, she doesn’t expect an announcement from the QB anytime soon.

“With Mike McCarthy becoming the head coach, I came out of Super Bowl week… I have the sense that he is more likely to come back than not,” Pryor said on ‘SportsCenter’. “But I would write it in pencil or at least an erasable pen because you are not going to hear it from Aaron Rodgers (for a long time)…”

McCarthy and Rodgers won a Super Bowl together in Green Bay and worked with each other for over a decade.

Aaron Rodgers would save Pittsburgh a major headache should he decide to come back. The team doesn’t have many options for the position, but the Minnesota Vikings are also linked

The NFC North outfit is reportedly keen on bringing in another quarterback and has long been interested in Rodgers.
