The 2026 NFL trade deadline is drawing closer, and multiple rumors have emerged in recent days, suggesting franchise-altering moves for some of the biggest names in the game. Jonathan Taylor has been linked to multiple teams amid an underwhelming 2-4 start in Indianapolis, but he is not the only one who could be traded.

The trade deadline will strike on Nov. 10, meaning teams have about two weeks to plan how to approach the rest of the season with the most competitive roster.

Insider Adam Schefter provided a major update on several players’ futures ahead of the big day. One franchise might be ready to blow it up and start over after a disappointing campaign.

On Sunday, Schefter listed five players to watch ahead of the upcoming trade deadline. The Indianapolis Colts could be the most active sellers before the deadline. Unsurprisingly, the senior insider went with Taylor first.

“There’s going to be a lot of interest in Taylor around the league,” he said. “Teams like the Seattle Seahawks, the Minnesota Vikings, the Denver Broncos and the Green Bay Packers made a run at Jonathan Taylor a couple of years back. (They) could decide to call Indianapolis again.”

More Colts players made the list. Guard Quenton Nelson and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner were mentioned after the star running back.

Brian Thomas Jr. also made the list. His name has drawn significant attention recently, even though the Jacksonville Jaguars remain reluctant to move him. Last but not least, Los Angeles Chargers icon Khalil Mack could also be on the move.

The Kansas City Chiefs were mentioned as a potential landing spot for him. However, Andy Reid’s team might face competition for the veteran linebacker.

More names could join the list in the next couple of weeks, but it seems like the Colts will have a big say on how the trade market moves this regular season.
