AJ Brown is over the moon following the trade that’s finally landed him in New England.

The former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver was a source of frustration for the team all of last season. But he’s now set for a new chapter, with the Patriots having traded for him on Monday.

Brown has made no secret of his admiration for the Pats during his time in the NFL. He even revealed that he cried after the team passed on him in the draft when he was coming out of Ole Miss in 2019.

With his dream all but realized, the wideout took to Instagram to commemorate the move with photos of himself as a toddler wearing a No. 12 Tom Brady jersey.

AJ Brown Post Goes Viral For The Wrong Reason

Screenshots of Brown’s IG story post have gone viral, with one X user discovering that it was AI-generated.

“He’s dead*** AI’ing baby pictures to cater to the Patriots fanbase LMFAOOOOO,” they joked.

The fan also provided his research.

“The NFL officially switched to Nike jerseys in 2012. Nike took over as the league’s exclusive on-field uniform and sideline apparel provider, replacing Reebok, which had held the contract since 2002.”

Turns out he didn’t even have to go that deep.

“Brother it literally says Ai on the post you ain’t even have to do all that😂😂,” another user pointed out.

“Yea considering it f**kin tells you it’s made with AI?😂😂😂😂,” someone chimed in.

“Y’all miserable. He wasn’t trying to make anyone believe that the pics were real,” said a third.

“He’s not catering to patriots fans, he’s catering to Nike because he’s a Nike athlete and can’t post pictures of him wearing a Reebok jersey,” one comment read.

Meanwhile, the Patriots will hope that Brown’s arrival will get them over the hump following their loss in the Super Bowl last season.

The finalists gave up a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick in exchange for the three-time Pro Bowler.

The Eagles, meanwhile, drafted his replacement last month, snagging Makai Lemon from Pittsburgh’s clutches. However, it does appear that DeVonta Smith will be their WR1 on the back of Brown’s departure.
