Andy Reid Sparks Major Backlash With Blunt Response To Female Fans After Justin Tucker Signing [VIDEO]

The Kansas City Chiefs signed veteran kicker Justin Tucker to their practice squad following ongoing struggles and missed field goals by incumbent kicker Harrison Butker.

Their move came days after Butker missed two field goals in an embarrassing 20-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Tucker has not appeared in the NFL since the 2024 season. He was released by the Baltimore Ravens ahead of the 2025 NFL season. It came after being accused of sexual misconduct by multiple massage therapists.

Tucker has received tryouts with other NFL teams in the years since his release, but has gone unsigned until now.

Now, Andy Reid is facing questions about it.

Andy Reid Addresses Justin Tucker Signing and Message to Female Fans

Prior to his release, Tucker was considered one of the best kickers in the NFL. Moreover, from 2013 to 2023, he made the All-Pro first team five times and was a seven-time Pro Bowler.

None of that mattered after he was handed a 10-game suspension from the NFL ahead of the 2025 season. Chiefs coach Andy Reid cited that suspension as a reason the team felt OK bringing Tucker in on Wednesday.

That wasn’t all he said. Furthermore, Reid spoke to reporters hours after reports broke that the Chiefs were signing the disgraced former Ravens kicker. One reporter asked Reid what message it sent to the female fan base.

“He’s done his suspension. Took care of that business there. I’ll leave it at that,” Andy Reid said.

Consequently, Reid faced more questions that included whether the Chiefs’ ownership had any say in the decision.

“Listen, we try to do our homework the best way we possibly can and talk to a lot of people to make sure things are OK,” Reid said.

If Tucker makes his field goals, the questions about him will go away.
