Arizona Cardinals Send Kyler Murray & Draft Picks To AFC Team For 5-Time Pro Bowl Superstar In Blockbuster Trade Proposal That Needs To Happen

The Kyler Murray era might be over after the 2025 season. His season had already come to an end due to a lingering foot injury. The injury has kept him out of action since October 5, and there’s little to suggest he will play for Arizona again.
Murray suffered a foot injury in Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season during a game against the Tennessee Titans. Despite efforts to return, the injury failed to progress as hoped through his recovery window.
Now, the next time he might take the field is likely with another franchise. NFL insider Benjamin Allbright seems to think so.
On Saturday, the Raiders placed pass rusher Maxx Crosby on season-ending injured reserve.
Taking to X, Allbright brought up the Raiders trading Crosby to the Cardinals for Kyler Murray.
“Trade to AZ this off season for Kyler and draft picks?” Allbright wrote.

Kyler Murray Needs A Change of Scenery

Which veteran quarterbacks could be on the move this offseason?
The Raiders are desperate to find a signal-caller for their squad. Geno Smith has not been the answer for them. Kyler Murray needs a change of scenery, and Las Vegas might be home for him. There is also the money impact regarding him.
Murray’s contract runs through 2028; more importantly, it includes $36.8MM in guarantees for next season. Not many teams are lining up to take that on. It would come as no surprise if the Cardinals were to retain salary to facilitate a swap.
Head coach Jonathan Gannon said he was “disappointed” that Murray would be out for the rest of the year.
Kyler Murray was excelling well in Kliff Kingsbury’s system before suffering an ACL tear in 2022. Taking him on means taking on his injury history. Murray has missed 30 games due to injury.
All it takes is for one team to believe in him.
