The Atlanta Falcons continue to make moves in the 2026 NFL offseason. The NFC South franchise moved on from general manager Terry Fontenot and head coach Raheem Morris at the end of the 2025 campaign, giving the keys to the car to a different tandem.

Kevin Stefanski took over as head coach, and Ian Cunningham has put together a competitive team on paper. Second-year quarterback Michael Penix Jr. will likely compete with Tua Tagovailoa to be QB1 in 2026.

Additionally, they added a star running back in free agency. Brian Robinson joined the squad on Tuesday, adding depth to a room that already had Bijan Robinson, one of the best players in his position.

Atlanta Falcons May Have Created Big Issue For Fantasy Owners With Brian Robinson Addition

July 12, 2025; Tuscaloosa, AL, USA; NFL running back Brian Robinson Jr. gives directions during the Brian Robinson Jr. Football Camp at Hillcrest High School. Robinson, a Hillcrest and University of Alabama alum, is a running back for the Washington Commanders.

NFL insider Ari Meirov reported the move on social media. Shortly after, he realized something that caused concern among fans.

“The #Falcons just made ‘B. Robinson (ATL)’ a problem for fantasy drafts. Somewhere, there will be a hilarious mistake,” he tweeted.

Fans noticed how hard it could be for them to identify the players and sent plenty of messages on X.

“Someone’s season ending because they picked the wrong Robinson,” one fan said.

“I was in a league last year where somebody drafted Jermar Jefferson in the first round,” another fan said.

“Made the mistake last year (my first fantasy draft💀) without them even being on the same team lmaoo,” a third fan wrote.

“He instantly becomes a sneaky fantasy asset high-volume, complementary role behind Bijan Robinson. Confusion over ‘B. Robinson’ in drafts is almost guaranteed,” a fourth fan added.

“This meme is gonna do numbers in August,” a fifth fan said.

“B. Robinson is gonna be RB1, no doubt,” a sixth fan said.

After spending the first four seasons of his career with the Washington Commanders, Brian Robinson Jr. joined the San Francisco 49ers for the 2026 campaign. He played 17 games, carrying the ball 92 times for 400 yards and two touchdowns.
