Jerry Jones’ stubbornness and refusal to change the design of AT&T Stadium cost the Dallas Cowboys a big play from star wide receiver George Pickens during Thursday’s Thanksgiving game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

As Dallas Cowboys fans know, Jerry Jones has no interest in putting up curtains to block out the glaring sunlight at AT&T Stadium. Remember, this was an issue during the Cowboys’ 2021 Wild Card Round loss to the San Francisco 49ers:

With the sun shining out in the Dallas area today, George Pickens was dealt a cruel reminder that the man who signs the checks couldn’t be bothered to help his own players out:

Pickens is in the middle of a career year for the Cowboys, entering Thursday’s game with 67 receptions for 1,054 yards and eight touchdowns, per Pro Football Reference. Pickens came into Thursday needing just 87 more receiving yards to set a new career high.
