Over a week since his historical performance at Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show, more details about Bad Bunny’s whereabouts and decisions during and after the performance continue to see the light. The Puerto Rican artist drew over 120 million viewers during his halftime show, when he shared a message about unity.

His performance didn’t please many, as it was even subject to investigation by the FCC. Fans went crazy after they found no violations. After he wrapped up his performance, Bad Bunny visited a restaurant with 60 other people to celebrate the achievement.

He bought out an entire San Francisco, California restaurant to do so. David Linares and Elizabeth Reviriego hosted the 31-year-old, his friends and family at their Macarena restaurant in Palo Alto.

“I was shocked. At the beginning, I didn’t believe it,” Linares said, per SF Gate. “We didn’t know what to think, obviously, but then everything started moving so fast.”

“With only 24 hours to get the 180-seat Spanish tapas restaurant ready for the pop star, whose name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, it was a long night. They called diners to apologetically cancel their Sunday reservations, prepared a special ‘Benito Edition’ menu for the party of 60 and covered up the floor-to-ceiling windows,” SF Gate added.

Despite making the staff work really hard in a short time period, Bad Bunny showed his class. The restaurant owners prepared everything to give him and his team their privacy, even asking their team to leave their phones outside the restaurant before revealing who they would serve that night.

The artist left the place on a very positive note, thanking the entire staff personally, earning a lot of respect from the owners.

“He was very appreciative,” Reviriego said. “He really wanted us to know that he had the greatest time and that the food was delicious.”

While some tried to paint him in such a negative light, the people who actually worked closely with him had nothing but good things to say about the Puerto Rican.
