The Baltimore Ravens are currently in quarterback hell after a string of injuries. They decided to fix that on Wednesday.
They face a severe quarterback crisis after losing Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley to major injuries in a Week 8 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Jackson suffered a severe right thumb injury on the first snap of Sunday’s game against Buffalo when his hand collided with a defender.
He will undergo surgery and go on IR, sidelining him for a minimum of four games. Consequently, his season could be over based on where the team is when he gets healthy.
Tyler Huntley then suffered a turf toe injury in the second quarter of the same game. Tests confirmed he requires season-ending surgery.
On Wednesday, the team reached out to the Cardinals to get a QB.
Ravens Finalizing Trade for Jacoby Brissett After Lamar Jackson Injury

The Baltimore Ravens weren’t willing to roll the dice on the rest of their season with an undrafted rookie quarterback. Additionally, they went out and made a trade for a veteran QB.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Ravens are finalizing a trade to acquire Jacoby Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals. The deal is expected to be completed this weekend.

The trade wasn’t pulled off in time for Brissett to start Thursday night against the Jaguars, according to Schefter.
