The Baltimore Ravens could make another splash in the 2026 free agency, and this time, finalize a move that could have major ramifications in their level of performance. They shocked the NFL world on Tuesday after backing out of the Maxx Crosby trade.
Reports suggested that the defensive end didn’t pass his physical, which prompted the Raiders to make the controversial decision. On Wednesday, they agreed to a four-year, $112 million deal with Trey Hendrickson of the Cincinnati Bengals.
Baltimore lost multiple players in free agency, including Tyler Linderbaum and Isaiah Likely. They could bounce back with another move after the Hendrickson deal. Dan Orlovsky identified the perfect candidate to join Lamar Jackson and Co.
Baltimore Ravens Urged To Push For A.J. Brown

During Wednesday’s edition of ESPN’s “Get Up,” the former NFL quarterback called for the Ravens to go after A.J. Brown, one of the best wide receivers in the league.
“If I’m Baltimore now, I was willing to part with those two picks for ‘X’ player Maxx Crosby. If I’m Baltimore now, and with all the money, why would I not be trying to sign Trey Hendrickson and calling Philly to see if I can trade for A.J. Brown?” the ex-QB asked.
“He’s not gonna command trade-wise as much as Maxx Crosby did,” Orlovsky explained. “So in essence if I was willing to get rid of those picks, two ones, and the money for one player, if you’re Baltimore why would you not be willing to get rid of some part of those picks and money for two players? Hendrickson and A.J. Brown.”

A.J. Brown had a tumultuous 2025 season with the Philadelphia Eagles. His relationship with Jalen Hurts wasn’t the best, and his future has been subject to speculation. The Ravens could use one of the first-rounders they used to land Crosby and turn it into Brown.
