Bo Nix is having a dream 2025 NFL season.

It wasn’t great, but Bo and the Denver Broncos are still in full control of the AFC. Nix and the playoff-bound Broncos had a tougher-than-expected game against the Chiefs. With Patrick Mahomes out with a torn ACL, many thought this game would be a blowout. The Chiefs had other plans.

Nix mounted a late touchdown drive. The defense made a key stop with seconds to play to grab a 20-13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Bo Nix did many things wrong, but he also accomplished some key things right. One of those things won’t make it to the box score.

The Broncos quarterback put his own health on the line for a Chiefs legend. Chris Jones was laid out on the ground during the contest and needed a hand. Jones, who weighs 310 pounds at 6-foot-6, got that help from Nix.

Nix is just 6-foot-2, 217 pounds. He still came over to help Jones to his feet.

Bo Nix is likely going to play with a chip on his shoulder for the rest of the season. The Broncos’ QB came into their Christmas game knowing he had been snubbed from the Pro Bowl. Nix ran for a touchdown and threw a go-ahead pass to R.J. Harvey. He finished with 182 yards passing.

It was the first time he was under 200 yards passing since early November. The most important thing is that they got the victory. Denver picked up a 20-13 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day in Week 17. They have now won 12 of their last 13 games after a 1-2 start

Sean Payton’s squad is now 13-3 and will remain in first place in the AFC West heading into Week 18. They are one step closer to finally clinching the AFC West

Bo Nix and the Broncos will be watching the Chargers-Texans game on Saturday. Denver will be the AFC West champions if the Chargers tie or lose. Should they win, Denver and Los Angeles will meet in Week 18 for the division title in Denver, per Yahoo.
