ESPN senior NFL insider Adam Schefter officially announced a blockbuster trade today involving star wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to trade the dynamic young playmaker to the Houston Texans.

The announcement came after Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans dropped the news after today’s victory.

As part of the massive deal, Houston also receives a 2027 seventh-round draft pick from Arizona. Subsequently, the Cardinals will acquire a 2027 second-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick in exchange.

Marvin Harrison Jr. has recorded a quiet statistical stretch during the 2026 NFL season. Across his initial four regular-season games, the former top draft pick caught just 5 receptions on 13 total targets. He accumulated 85 receiving yards and scored one touchdown, averaging 17.0 yards per catch.

The Cardinals officially listed Harrison as inactive today for their Week 5 home matchup against the Detroit Lions. He is completely healthy, but team management opted to hold him out of action.

That is because he was on his way out of town.
