Jets Star Breece Hall Deactivates Accounts After Receiving Horrific Threats From Fans

New York Jets running back Breece Hall revealed that he deactivated his X account. Consequently, it happened as a result of receiving severe threats and hateful messages directed at him and his family.
“I’ve had people threatening me and my family on social media,” he said.
“So that’s not something that’s good for your mental health that you should be looking at. So I’m just like, all right, if people think it’s that serious, if you’re willing to go that low, then it’s like nothing that I need to look at.”
Breece Hall added that he has a “love-hate relationship with Jets fans, and that’s part of being an athlete in New York. You have to deal with that because they want you to be available, they want you to play, they want you to play very well. So it is what it is.”

While he was rehabbing his injury, Hall watched backup Braelon Allen come into his own on the field. Additionally, he has rushed for 504 yards over the five games, which is the second most in the NFL in that span.
The Jets, who are 2-6, are facing a tough matchup on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Having Hall back could certainly help.
