Cleveland Browns head coach Todd Monken appears to be embracing the Browns’ culture seamlessly. Monken, who landed in Cleveland to replace Kevin Stefanski, will have his first head-coach experience with the AFC North team.

He found some issues to be on time for his first NFL coaches’ photo. The veteran was supposed to appear in the NFL annual group coaches’ photo for the first time, but he was nowhere to be found when the rest of the coaches showed up.

It took a solid 20 minutes for Monken to find out he missed the photo. The reason? It is hard to believe.

Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot shared details about Monken’s mistake. He missed the picture because he was getting a haircut expressly for the photo. He found out he missed the photo after running into Jaguars head coach Liam Coen. Monken also missed a coaching meeting right before the picture due to the haircut.

Besides Monken, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay also missed the picture. The former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator joked that “he has plenty of incentive for not going one-and-done, so he can make his first appearance in the photo next year.”

Now, he must avoid those mistakes while coaching the Browns, or he will be gone before he has the chance to take the picture again.
