The last thing the Buccaneers need is their star quarterback to miss extended time, especially in the midst of a tight playoff race. They’re still without injured star running back Bucky Irving, with no timeline on his return, and star wide receiver Mike Evans as he recovers from a fractured collarbone.
Per NFL.com, Baker Mayfield has completed 62.7 percent of his pass attempts this season for 2,406 yards, 18 touchdowns and five interceptions.
