The Dallas Cowboys have been under criticism due to a big issue that can affect the players and fans’ experiences. The Cowboys posted a 7-9-1 record in 2025, which marked the end of Matt Eberflus’ tenure as the defensive coordinator. They replaced Eberflus with Christian Parker, the Philadelphia Eagles defensive passing game coordinator and defensive backs coach.
Changes are expected on offense, too, as they have reportedly identified a proper replacement for running back Javonte Williams, who turned 252 carries into 1,201 yards and 11 touchdowns. The roster and the coaching staff continue to change, but one of the most visible issues for the team remains unaddressed.
Sacred Heart University Proved Dallas Cowboys Could Have Avoided Major Sun Problem

Sacred Heart University has one of the best college hockey arenas in the United States, despite dealing with the sun glare. In a recent YouTube video, the Pioneers showed off their new state-of-the-art facility. Among the most impressive features is the self-darkening glass, which helps them avoid a problem the Cowboys have been dealing with for a while.
The stadium is surrounded by glass windows to provide an incredible view and plenty of sunlight throughout the building. But once game time rolls around, the tinted glass helps prevent any issues with the glare.
The Cowboys built AT&T Stadium with the end zones on the east and west sides of the stadium. During late afternoon games, the position becomes an issue for the Texas team. The sun starts to set and the windows on the west side of the stadium create an intense glare.
This has affected players, who have dropped passes due to the glare. Jerry Jones refuses to use curtains to block the sun, but he could also use Sacred Heart University’s alternative to the current wall of windows.
