Indianapolis Colts mascot, Blue, is being accused of assault following an interaction with a cheerleader on Sunday. 

The Colts lost their fourth game of the season, going down 26-20 to the Tennessee Titans, who came into the contest winless. 

They have since fired general manager Chris Ballard. 

Meanwhile, a clip is going viral online showing Blue bumping a cheerleader with his backside. She reacts while nearby cheerleaders smile, making the exchange look more playful than hostile.

“Colts mascot physically assaults the cheerleaders in broad daylight?” the caption asks.

Of course, fans had plenty to say.

“They seem to be having fun with the mascot, he is married to a former cheerleader. I am sure they are ok with it. Not a bad job I guess as long as it is consensual,” one user wrote.

“It’s a woman in that costume,” another user noted

“What do you expect? It’s a horse with a Mohawk. It clearly doesn’t know what its doing,” someone offered.

“WHERE ARE THE CHARGES,” someone else demanded.

“they are all laughing,” a user observed.

“That’s not funny!” another person objected.

The Ind Colts describe Blue as a source of game-day entertainment, and his established role includes comedy and sideline antics. 

While that explains a lot, we aren’t sure how the cheerleader felt about the contact.
