A concerning new video has emerged from the San Francisco 49ers’ practice ahead of Saturday’s Divisional Round clash with the Seattle Seahawks.

Last week, a wild conspiracy theory surfaced claiming that an electrical substation near the San Francisco 49ers’ practice facility has been a factor in the team suffering significant injuries over the years.

And in today’s age of social media, it doesn’t take much for conspiracy theories to really take off. Veteran star wide receiver Kendrick Bourne had some fun joking about the theory before the 49ers’ Wild Card Round win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

If you believe that the electrical substation is playing a role in the San Francisco 49ers’ lack of healthy bodies this season? Then you might wish to avoid watching the video below of All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner practicing.

Just look at the power plant in the background:

Warner, who’s been sidelined with a gruesome ankle injury since Week 7, was hopeful about returning vs. Seattle this week. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, head coach Kyle Shanahan said Warner won’t play.

Regardless of what happens on Saturday, 2025 can only be considered a tremendous success in San Francisco. The defense lost Nick Bosa and prized rookie Mykel Williams to season-ending injuries. And they haven’t had Warner for most of the year.

On offense, Brock Purdy, Trent Williams and Ricky Pearsall missed significant time. Brandon Aiyuk didn’t play a single snap this year. George Kittle suffered a torn Achilles in Sunday’s playoff win over Philly.

And yet, the 49ers have reached the elite eight and are one win away from the NFC Championship Game. That’s a testament to Shanahan’s excellent coaching and the 49ers’ incredible resilience.

If they could get to the NFC title game without all these key players? It would be quite the Cinderella story.
