Shedeur Sanders continues to get better, but his coach keeps holding him back.

The Browns are racking up the losses, but their rookie QB is showing significant signs of improvement.

Before his monster game on Sunday, a TikTok user had a damning video about head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Sanders, who put Dillon Gabriel in his place, has at least one person thinking that his head coach hates his guts.

He also has the numbers to back it up.

In a detailed TikTok breakdown by @BuonoBall, the video dives into Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders’ impressive passing volume during his 2025 regular season.

The fan pulls up Sanders’ ESPN game log, flipping to Dillon Gabriel for comparison.

“We all know how much Kevin Stefanski hates Shedeur Sanders. For whatever reason, wants to kiss Dillon Gabriel,” the TikTok user said.

“Look at how ridiculous this is,” he says while pointing to Shedeur’s first start against the Raiders. In that game, he threw the ball just 20 times.

Gabriel’s first start had him throwing the ball 33 times, resulting in fewer passing yards than Shedeur.

He then points to Sanders’ second start, where he had just 25 throws while Gabriel had 52 throws.

In the present day, Kevin Stefanski, who had a ridiculous explanation after Sunday’s loss, allowed Shedeur Sanders to throw the ball 42 times for 364 yards.

At his postgame press conference, Sanders refused to sling blame.

“If I’m out there any play, I wish I’d always have the ball in my hands,” he said.

“Not gonna get into all the specifics, but obviously did not go as we thought it would,” said Stefanski, later adding, “I’m responsible for all of it.”

The team still lost another game.
