Dak Prescott became a hot topic in the NFL in March after he and his now ex-fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, called off their wedding just weeks before they would tie the knot.

The quarterback has yet to break the silence on the situation, which reportedly stemmed from his reluctance to stop talking to other women. Ramos allegedly gave him an ultimatum before they went to the Bahamas for their joint bachelor-bachelorette party.

Prescott couldn’t keep his word, and things went out of control. Now, Ramos remains active on social media, while the quarterback remains silent.

On Monday, at the league’s annual meeting, Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer provided an update on Prescott’s situation. Speaking of his communication with the players in the offseason, Schottenheimer detailed how he’s been there for Prescott during a tough time.

“But Dak and I have had a ton of conversations,” Schottenheimer said, via the Dallas Morning News. “He’s in a really good spot obviously with what he’s dealing with is incredibly tough. But if anyone can handle it, he can.”

This situation could prove detrimental for Prescott. The Cowboys have renewed expectations for the 2026 campaign, and not having their quarterback at the best place mentally could backfire.
