Trevon Diggs’ 2025 season has been a weird one. It got entirely weird in October when he suffered a concussion. The injury did not occur on the field; it happened at home.
Diggs has missed the past eight games as the Cowboys’ record stands at 6-7-1. For months, there had been multiple rumors about how he really suffered that concussion. He finally decided to put it to rest.
The star cornerback shared a video with NFL reporter Jane Slater showing his home TV setup. He was trying to install a television from the ceiling when things went terribly wrong.
Some of you wanted to know how Trevon Diggs got concussed. It was never that crazy but the lack of answers made it sound like it was. With his permission he shared and here’s the video of it.

“I was trying to be a handyman,” Diggs said, “which I shouldn’t have been.”
Trevon Diggs Returns To The Field

The Dallas Cowboys announced a significant injury update on All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs. He returned to practice as a limited participant. Diggs missed the game against the Vikings, but he was back on Sunday.
Dallas’ defense has predictably regressed. It follows the Micah Parsons blockbuster trade with the rival Green Bay Packers. He was certainly needed. Unfortunately, it did not matter much at all.
The Cowboys activated All-Pro CB Trevon Diggs just for the Chargers to blow them out. Dallas was already eliminated from the postseason race. The Eagles eliminated them from the playoff hunt. It came after Saturday’s victory against the Washington Commanders.
That victory clinched the NFC East title for Philadelphia for the second straight season.
For Diggs, he’ll have a chance to finish the season on the field. He was named first-team All-Pro in 2021 and made the Pro Bowl in 2022. Unfortunately, injuries have limited him in 2023 and 2024.
On Sunday, he had a combined six tackles. He now has 17 total tackles in the 2025 season. Diggs has yet to register an interception.
