The Dallas Cowboys still have questions to answer regarding their roster. After a disappointing 2025 NFL season, the Lone Star entered the offseason with multiple voids to fill, especially on defense.

They made solid additions to revamp their “D” under new coordinator Christian Parker. Still, that is not the only issue they need to address now. George Pickens remains on the roster, but the Cowboys could lose him if another team makes the wide receiver an offer Dallas can’t match.

Following the four-year, $168.6 million deal the Seattle Seahawks gave Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the Cowboys could face a tough situation with Pickens.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz thinks that JSN resetting the market will have a big impact on George Pickens, who is fresh off his best season to date.

“The more interesting name, however, is George Pickens in Dallas,” Schultz said on “The Schultz Report.” “Fresh off a dominant All-Pro year, he is surely watching all of this and believes he belongs in that same tier (as Smith-Njigba and Nacua) … This Pickens situation is only going to get more interesting as the offseason progresses.”

Los Angeles Rams’ Puka Nacua appears to be set to sign a new deal, which could elevate that number even higher. That could make it hard for the Cowboys to sign George Pickens to a big-money deal.
