The Dallas Cowboys have been linked with multiple trade rumors ahead of during the draft. After completing the blockbuster and controversial Micah Parsons trade, they have two first-round pick. Rumors suggest that Jerry Jones could consider trading one of them.
Back in January, Notre Dame product Jeremiyah Love was floated as an option to replace Javonte Williams. The veteran signed a three-year, $24 million with the team last week.
Then in February, Caleb Downs sounded like an option for the Cowboys, but they would have needed to trade their No. 12 pick for Cleveland’s No. 6 selection. Now, they could make a similar move that could shake up the draft.
Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets Could Do Business Again

Jordan Reid of ESPN created a two-round NFL mock draft on Tuesday. The analyst proposed a trade between the Cowboys and the Jets that would allow the Lone Star to draft a defender.
“A few months after teaming up in the Quinnen Williams trade, the Jets and Cowboys can make another deal,” Reid wrote. “New York sends Dallas the first-rounder it acquired in the Sauce Gardner trade (No. 16), a fourth-rounder and a seventh-round selection to move up to the No. 12 pick.”
The move would result in the Jets picking USC WR Makai Lemon and the Cowboys going with safety Dillon Thieneman. Then, they would take Clemson cornerback Avieon Terrell at pick No. 20.
Dallas’ defense was a glaring issue last season, and these moves would put them in a strong position on that side of the ball.
