Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Cooper Beebe wasn’t happy with the Los Angeles Chargers’ social media activity following his team’s 34-17 loss to the AFC West team in Week 16. Amid a tumultuous 2025 season, the Cowboys saw their playoff chances killed after the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Washington Commanders last week. They then posted an underwhelming performance against Justin Herbert and Co.
Besides the loss, Beebe took another jab from the Chargers’ social media team. The center took issue with a Chargers video that allegedly made him appear racist. The clip showed Beebe pointing at Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley as he tried to identify a hole in the Chargers’ defensive line.
Los Angeles’ social media team bleeped out what Beebe said in the video before sharing it on X with the caption: “lol instant karma.”
Beebe called out the decision on social media, explaining what transpired before he was called for a false start in a now-deleted tweet.
“Literally Said Hole R? That’s our call vs Abby front,” Beebe wrote, quote-tweeting the Chargers’ original post. “Imagine bleeping out what I said to make me seem racist. You guys are POS @chargers.”

Cooper Beebe’s words worked, as the Chargers deleted the video eventually.
Jerry Jones points finger at those responsible for Cowboys’ long-running playoff drought

After failing to make it to the NFL playoffs for a second straight season, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones reflected on what the team is missing. Following a tumultuous campaign in which they experienced multiple changes, Jones took the blame for the shortcomings.
“I’ll admit that the Cowboys management has played a big role [in the 30-year Super Bowl drought],” Jones said. “But seriously, I’m very disappointed with the way we’re structured. And my role puts us here tonight. I’m tremendously disappointed.”
The Cowboys bounced back with a 30-23 win over the Washington Commanders on Christmas, but it was just another win, as they didn’t have playoff aspirations anymore.
