Dallas Cowboys’ Trade For Maxx Crosby Gets Major Update
This article was originally published on Total Pro Sports.

The Maxx Crosby trade saga continues, as the Las Vegas Raiders defensive end appears to be done with the team. After a tumultuous end to the 2025 season, which included Pete Carroll shutting him down for the final two weeks of the season, Crosby became a popular name in trade topics.
The Dallas Cowboys emerged as a potential suitor for Crosby in recent hours. The Chicago Bears were labeled as the perfect fit for Crosby, but nothing has materialized yet.
A Thursday report from Trey Wingo indicated that the Cowboys thought they had a deal done to land Crosby on Wednesday, but other teams stepped in and bettered Dallas’ offer.
“Things are moving fast re Maxx Crosby. Last night Dallas thought they were close to a deal but since then other teams have raised the ante and potentially are offering the Raiders 2 1st round picks Expected Dallas to now shift their focus to Trey Hendrickson,” Wingo tweeted.

Dallas Cowboys Reluctant To Pay Las Vegas Raiders’ Asking Price For Maxx Crosby

While Maxx Crosby dropped a clear hint of his desire to play for the Cowboys, the Lone Star has given up in its pursuit. NFL reporter Diana Slater said that the Cowboys are reluctant to pay what the Raiders ask for Crosby.
“Raiders are talking to a lot of people. But we would not give up two first rounders,” Slater reported on Thursday, confirming what Wingo said.
On Maxx Crosby and the Cowboys being at play here….here is what I’m being told from a team source.

That’s the situation now. Will that change? I don’t know but I checked for those of you…

Dallas will have other options in the free market. Trey Hendrickson could be a good alternative, or perhaps trading for the Minnesota Vikings’ Jonathan Greenard.
