Amid a busy offseason, which included getting the “biggest steal” of free agency, the Dallas Cowboys prepare for a 2026 season with renewed expectations. They could still make moves that put them closer to the top of the NFC East and make them look stronger when the Brazil game arrives.

After two years of traveling to Sao Paulo, the NFL will take the Brazil game to Rio de Janeiro. The Cowboys were announced as the team to travel to the South American country, but the opponent remained undisclosed.

The league planned a record nine international games for 2026. Dallas could star in one of the most attractive if the rumors about their opponent become true.

Giana Han of The Baltimore Banner reported on Wednesday that the Cowboys will take on the Baltimore Ravens in this year’s Brazil game.

“In Week 3, the Ravens will take on the Dallas Cowboys, who are the home team for the first NFL game to be played in Rio de Janeiro, two league sources told The Banner,” Han said.

The Ravens are one of the most entertaining teams in the league. Similar to Dallas, they struggled on defense last season. With Jesse Minter as head coach, they should be better in that regard.

Dallas had one of the worst defenses in the league in 2025, and they also made changes in that department. Still, both teams have explosive offenses that should give fans a big show in Rio de Janeiro.

The first two games of the Brazil game were exciting from start to end.
