The Philadelphia Eagles have undergone a couple of changes since the end of the 2025 NFL season. For starters, they fired Kevin Patullo and replaced him with Sean Mannion as their new offensive coordinator.

Their offense was under heavy scrutiny last season, reportedly creating rifts between wide receiver A.J. Brown, quarterback Jalen Hurts and the rest of the players and coaches. Mannion, who comes from the Green Bay Packers, will try to right the ship at Lincoln Financial Field.

Meanwhile, the offense could suffer a big loss in free agency. They have a well-rounded offense, but one of their most reliable playmakers could walk away soon.

The Denver Broncos could take advantage of the situation and lure away one of the best performers on the Eagles roster last campaign.

Dallas Goedert Predicted To Join Denver Broncos In 2026 NFL Free Agency

Coming off one of the best seasons of his career, Dallas Goedert became one of the best performers for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2025. He caught 60 passes for 591 yards and 11 touchdowns for the NFC East franchise. Goedert will hit the free agency market this offseason, and Nathan Jahnke of Pro Football Focus believes the tight end will head to Denver.

“The Broncos are one of the teams that most need a tight end. Sean Payton has a long history with veteran free agent tight ends, including Jeremy Shockey, Ben Watson, Jared Cook and Evan Engram. Engram didn’t work out this past season, but Goedert fits more of the size and speed that Payton typically looks for in a tight end,” Jahnke wrote.

Engram couldn’t make an impact on the Broncos in 2025. Goedert could give Bo Nix a better pair of hands, while adding a real red-zone threat for Sean Payton, who has made several changes this offseason, too. NFL insider Adam Schefter had hinted that big news could be coming from the Eagles camp, and this may well be one of them.
