It sounds like nearly everyone else loved Bad Bunny’s halftime show at the Super Bowl. At least, that is what the numbers are suggesting.
Months ago, social media went insane after the NFL announced him as the Halftime show performer. He made no friends by telling everyone to learn Spanish ahead of time.
Once his show was done, Donald Trump blasted the amazing performance on his Truth Social account, calling it one of the worst ever. That wasn’t the only thing that happened following his performance.
ICE Commercial Airs Right After Bad Bunny’s Performance

Leading up to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl show, there has been unrest in the United States regarding ICE. Bunny famously demanded “ICE out” during his acceptance speech for Best Música Urbana Album at the 68th Grammy Awards.
He advocated for immigrants, stating, “We’re not savages, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens — we are humans, and we are Americans.”
After his performance, a diabolical ICE commercial would air to millions across the United States. That seemed to be done quite intentionally.

In the end, Bad Bunny reportedly drew millions of viewers for his Super Bowl Halftime Show. According to NBC, an estimated 135.4 million watched the Puerto Ricans’ halftime extravaganza, making it the most-watched ever.
The halftime event seemed to mark the full arrival of Latin music on one of the most traditionally American stages in sports. It surpasses Kendrick Lamar’s record last year of 133.5 million.
