Jihaad Campbell is facing backlash after a reported social media repost following the Eagles’ loss to the Rams.

Philadelphia drafted the 22-year-old linebacker 31st overall in 2025 out of Alabama. A lifelong Eagles fan, he grew up in Erial, New Jersey.

A screenshot on X shows a “reposted by Jihaad Campbell” label above an adult video. Football Forever wrote that Campbell apparently reposted it after Sunday’s game.

Liberty Line, while highly critical of the player, noted that it’s still unknown as to whether Campbell was actually responsible for the post.

The player hasn’t confirmed anything, and the screenshots haven’t been authenticated.

Nine Tackles In The Loss, Yet Coverage Questions Still Follow Him

The reported retweet came right after a collapse. The Eagles led 20-10 with under 10 minutes left, but lost 24-20 at Lincoln Financial Field. Philadelphia went 0-for-12 on their third downs. Angry Eagles fans’ postgame interviews went viral shortly afterward.

Nick Sirianni also drew heat for a fourth-down call. He passed on a short field goal that would have made it 23-10. Jalen Hurts’ pass fell incomplete. “We didn’t get it, so that’s on me,” Sirianni said, according to CBS Philadelphia.

Campbell finished with nine solo tackles. Jeremiah Trotter Jr. led the defense with 15 tackles. He filled in for Zack Baun, who was ruled out with a concussion.

Still, the tackle total came with criticism. Inside the Iggles listed Campbell as a loser from the game. The site wrote that Tyler Higbee kept catching passes near the sideline against him. It also said the Rams attacked him all game in coverage. Other outlets described him as often out of position against both the run and the pass.

From First-Round Pick To Benched Rookie, Campbell’s Path Since Draft Night

Campbell arrived in Philly with a strong résumé, earning second-team All-American honors at Alabama in 2024 after 117 tackles.

He played 17 games as a rookie, starting 10. He finished with 80 combined tackles, one sack, and three pass deflections. He also added one interception and two forced fumbles, according to the Eagles official website.

His role shrank after the bye week, though. Campbell played zero defensive snaps against the Bears in Week 13. He then posted a short message on X in Arabic, which read “Patience and determination.”

Campbell led the Eagles with 28 tackles entering Sunday. He now has 37 combined tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble through four games.
