The Philadelphia Eagles went into halftime on a high and low note after Jalyx Hunt stopped a play and got injured in the process.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ edge rusher suffered a gruesome-looking left leg injury during Sunday’s game in London. The scary incident occurred at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the very final play of the first half. While attempting to recover a loose ball, Hunt awkwardly fell hard to the turf. His leg visibly bent backward underneath his body as he hit the ground.

The defender remained down on the field for minutes following the play.

Hunt was not going to be taken off on a cart despite his injury.

The Eagles’ medical staff rushed out to the field and completely surrounded him following his injury. Stadium officials brought out a motorized cart to transport him off the field. However, Hunt declined the ride and chose to walk to the locker room.

He could not apply any pressure to his injured leg and needed heavy assistance. Trainers essentially had to carry him off the field because of the severe pain.

Prior to his injury on Sunday, Hunt recorded 3 solo tackles and 1 pass defended against the Jaguars. Entering that matchup, the defender had appeared in four games during the 2026 NFL season. Previously, he logged 9 total tackles, 3 assists, and 1 tackle for loss across his initial appearances. The edge rusher also generated 11 total pressures, including 8 hurries and 3 quarterback hits.
