NFL fans are furious over the league’s head-scratching decision for the Green Bay Packers-Chicago Bears Wild Card Round game.

The NFL announced the schedule for the Wild Card Round during the Baltimore Ravens’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. The Green Bay Packers will visit the Chicago Bears at 8:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, with Amazon Prime Video carrying the game.

This will be just the third playoff matchup between the Packers and Bears, who met in the 1941 and 2010 postseasons. Chicago is also looking to win its first playoff game since 2010, when it beat the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round.

Fans, however, aren’t pleased with the NFL’s decision to let Amazon Prime Video call the Bears-Packers game. Disgruntled viewers have criticized play-by-play man Al Michaels aplenty this year, mainly because of his lack of emotion.

Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit will call the Chicago Bears-Green Bay Packers clash, much to the chagrin of fans.

“Watching this on mute. Worst team to call the best game. Sad,” a fan wrote.

“Give Al Michaels some sort of adrenaline pill to force him to call the game with some excitement,” a user said.

“NFL’s way of saying we hate our fans. Game only on Prime,” wrote another.

“Only on Prime? I hate you @NFL,” a fan commented.

“Are you kidding me. We really have to listen to Al call this one,” said a user.

“can we get tom brady instead of al michaels somehow,” a fan added.

Well, fans always have the option to mute the television.

Chicago Bears Look To Keep Cinderella Season Going

Per Pro Football Reference, Caleb Williams finished his sophomore year with 3,942 passing yards, 27 touchdowns and only seven interceptions. He was just short of becoming the first QB in Bears history to throw for 4,000 yards in a season.

Rookie head coach Ben Johnson unlocked the potential of Caleb Williams and this young offense in 2025. First-year tight end Colston Loveland led the team with 713 receiving yards, too.

It’s been a long wait for Bears fans to see their team return to relevance. Now, we wait and see if they can end a 15-year postseason win drought.
