Shanda Roberts took center stage at Raymond James Stadium before the Tampa Bay Bucs game.

The mother of Buccaneers defensive lineman Elijah Roberts performed the national anthem. It came just before the team’s pivotal contest against the Carolina Panthers.

Wearing her son’s No. 95 jersey, her stunning performance of The Star-Spangled Banner set social media ablaze.

“Congrats to her! Talented and she’s also a great person!” one person replied.

“That’s a winning performance,” a second person stated about the Tampa Bay Bucs’ mom.

“Imagine being DL Elijah Roberts and your mom just crushed the national anthem. Talk about a pre-game hype. 🔥, a third person wrote.

“Mic drop for mom, pads up for son. Legendary,” one final person wrote.

This Saturday night game has already had fans thinking it has been rigged, just based on the refs. Head official Brad Allen and his crew have heavily favored home teams in the last three years.

The Tampa Bay Bucs need a Week 18 win vs. the Panthers and a Saints win over the Falcons to clinch a playoff berth. Tampa has won the NFC South each of the past four seasons. They would be locked into the NFC’s No. 4 seed if they win the division.

Tampa had an estimated 28% chance to make the playoffs, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.
