Following Super Bowl LX in February 2026, the Seattle Seahawks face a big decision. No, it is not about roster movements; it is about a decision regarding President Donald Trump.

Earlier this month, Trump was not at Levi’s Stadium to watch the Seahawks take on the New England Patriots. He was certainly watching the game since he took shots at Bad Bunny’s Halftime performance. Before the game, Trump picked the Patriots to lift their seventh Lombardi Trophy.

“Bob Kraft is a friend of mine, and I’ve watched that team, and you’ve got to hand it to him,” Trump said. “He had the great team. Now he’s got the great team again. They made a fantastic draft, picked the quarterback, it’s great. But it’s going to be a tremendous game. I hope it’s going to be a tremendous game.”

Unfortunately for him, the Patriots were never in the one-sided contest as the Seattle Seahawks dominated them from start to finish.

Now, there are rumors online that the Seahawks declined to visit Donald Trump.

Fans are beginning to circulate a rumor that the “Seahawks declined the White House.” Many think this claim is true since the team plays in a liberal-dominated area in the Pacific Northwest.

So, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see the Seahawks decline an invite from conservative President Donald Trump. The source of this rumor came via Ron Wright, a former U.S. Army veteran. His post this week has received more than 3.3 million views after he wrote, “Seattle Seahawks decline White House invitation! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.”

Yahoo Sports did not receive a response when reaching out to the veteran. They ultimately found out that his claim was entirely false.

“Verdict: False. The claim that the Seattle Seahawks have declined a White House invitation after their Super Bowl win is false. No evidence suggests that.”

It still remains unclear whether the team has even received an invitation from Donald Trump. The Dodgers won the World Series months ago and have yet to make a visit. There are still months between now and the 2026 season, so it could happen anytime before then.
