Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts has put the rest of the NFL on blast, calling players out as “fake” after witnessing the poor turnout at Rondale Moore’s funeral.

The authorities found Moore’s body in his garage last month and reported that the 25-year-old died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound

Multiple NFL players took to social media with tributes, expressing shock and devastation. However, according to Pitts, only six or seven players attended the burial on Friday.

Pitts, a former teammate of Moore’s, took to Instagram on Friday night. He shared a photo of the funeral pamphlet, adding a fiery caption.

“Crazy how only about 6 maybe 7 of your teammates in the NFL showed up for you today smfh…” he wrote. “All that talk and fake emotion and nobody want to show up to lay you to rest… Just at a loss of words.”

“Be woke on who your “Brothers” really are, who really rock with you in all areas of life not just in front of cameras or the public!” he added. “Folks just want to throw up a post and not mean it but we ball yb as Kur said “it might hurt a little” but we ball’.”

Pitts and Moore played together for one season after the latter landed in Atlanta via a trade from the Arizona Cardinals.

They were both part of the 2021 draft class. Pitts went No. 4 overall, and Moore was selected at No. 49.

The players remained close after Moore departed for Minnesota.
