An NFL sound girl starred in a painful moment during Sunday’s duel between the Atlanta Falcons and the San Francisco 49ers. The Niners entered the game with a perfect 6-0 record, hoping to extend it against a struggling Falcons squad, which had posted a 2-4 record.
At 8:59 in the third quarter, Michael Penix Jr. connected with tight end Kyle Pitts in the end zone for a 5-yard touchdown. What looked like a regular scoring play for the Falcons turned into something darker. Right after catching the ball, Pitts and his defender, Malik Mustapha, went out of bounds. Unfortunately, the Niners player clashed with the sound girl.
She went down hard and stayed on the ground in visible pain. Pitts, Penix and wide receiver Drake London checked on her before resuming play.
Falcons Ended 49ers’ Unbeaten Run

Atlanta ended up having the last laugh after the scary situation. They secured a 29-20 win at Mercedes-Benz Stadium behind Michael Penix’s solid outing. He went 25 of 34 for 213 yards and three touchdowns.
Drake London caught seven passes for 66 yards and one touchdown. Pitts finished with five catches, 22 yards and the score that ended with the sound girl hurt.
The Falcons improved to 3-4 with a great afternoon against one of the best teams in the early weeks of the season.
