NFL legend Charles Woodson didn’t get fooled by many quarterbacks during his time in the league. Unfortunately, artificial intelligence has caught up to him.

Social media has undergone significant changes due to the integration of AI. It just happened this month with a fake aerial view of the 2026 Rose Bowl contest between the Michigan Wolverines and Alabama Crimson Tide. The viral image was AI-generated, but it still went insanely viral.

At least that one was harmless. It was merely a picture.

Woodson spent 18 years in the NFL studying film and preparing for opponents. He wanted to ensure that he knew what he was doing out in the field. Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for his analyst career.

Before the start of this season, Woodson asked ChatGPT what the Packers’ division record was last year. He was told the wrong answer, but he had no clue. He repeated it on National Television.

The AI told him Green Bay went 0-6 in the NFC North. Their actual record was 1-5.

“This is the age of AI, and we use it for everything,” the 1997 Heisman Trophy winner began. “What I learned this year is that the first week of the season, I went on ChatGPT and I just asked a question. I said ‘How many games in the division did the Packers win last year?’ And ChatGPT said they were 0-6 in the division.”

“So, I thought it was an easy enough question. I come up here, I said it with my chest, I’m talking about the Packers. I’m like, ‘Man, they didn’t win a game in the division last year,’” Woodson continued. “As soon as I got on my [X account], somebody quickly corrected me. They said, ‘Hey man, you know the Packers won one division game last year. They beat Chicago.’ I said, ‘Ahhhh, man.’ So, make sure, man, if you’re using AI, that you fact-check.”

If it makes Charles Woodson feel any better, the Packers were much better in 2025. Before Week 18, they were 4-2 in the NFC North. The Green Bay Packers have clinched the NFC’s 7th seed for the playoffs, per Yahoo.
